This original artwork is painted in watercolour on a 7x5" Aquabord panel. Watercolour paint has been applied in layers to build colour and depth.
The final painting is spray varnished with satin archival varnish, then a layer of Dorlands Wax. The Aquabord is 3mm depth, ready for mounting or framing by the customer.
If the customers plans to have the piece framed I'd recommend a float frame, without glass, to show off the beautiful texture of the surface.
